the past few days have been a roller coaster ride, ever since results day aka doomsday.
on friday, i went to school with two packets of tissue, which is a really rare thing, just in case anyone would need tissue to soak up their tears. but obviously i wanted it to be tears of joy, not sadness that they flunk lah.

it was a self declared holiday, and i went to meet up renying at the oh-so-nostlagic j8. we whine and panick a little together while walking around aimlessly. finally decided to calm the nerves with.. chocolate. found ourselves in secret recipe, eating choc banana cake. jasmine came to join us from SA, and we chatted awhile then went to meet ber and xin @ amk. while walking to the busstop, met leck khai and he told us that weilun got ten A1s, and we cheered while passerbys stare at us. anderson actually called hwa chong to release him earlier lah. lol.

took the very familiar 265 with 2/3'04's mas,ain,siti and husna. our very nice huishan actually bluff-ed all of us she needed to go get smth for her mum @ bugis, but she was actually buying smth for us. apparently she waited from 11+ to 1+ and the shop doesnt want to open, but she came w cards for all of us.. so sweet right.

it was a long and rather miserable wait..
and this is what we did:

taking photos... since we cant do anything about our results anyway. went to the new student lounge and laze around..

so, the time came, and we ran into the hall. why? because some of us were happily savouring the wanton mee in sch canteen when the entire cohort was in the hall already, so we ran in. in my entire life as an andersonian, i never heard those people open their mouth and cheer and applause this loud. the motivation? good results of course, nothing else can move them man.. apparently my batch was the best cohort in eight years. (and because of us, the school proclaimed a day holiday, no fair.) the tension built up as the P flashed through slide after slide the msg compared with previous years of all the various subjects yadayada, with the applause and cheering escalating esp with such high distinction rates.

finally, after some rather useless announcements, they finally start to give out the result slips. everyone dont know how to read the slip and got cheated thinking they scored 8/9, which is actually the number of subjects they pass.

i learnt my lesson from last year and tore open the other form with renying, who was closest to me, and finally found our scores in small font amidst all the poly courses numbers.

so, i got ten.
totally unbelievable, i was expecting 17 or smth.
i wonder how come also. ...
but thank God. the rest did pretty well too, so the tissues need not be used! (:

we left the bustling hall for mos @amk central and chatted. i left with jasm first. took 22 to RC and remembered the dream i had 3 days ago, where i dreamnt that i got ten and headed TP...
RC was kinda quiet... no tears too (:
after the entire pm, gigi spoke to the batch of 06/07, asked all of us about our plans and advise us along the way. this i am thankful for. haha, but gi says i am pretty sure where i wana head...

chompchomp was fun. those not in the collage- pamyeo, gary. (cause they sit same side as me, lazy take photo. lol.) met janice there! who went to the eating hse oppo chompchomp for a rather interesting reason...

met karchian on the way to Hope on saturday morning.. felt kinda upset that all the people i invited couldn't make it... zzz. the entire service was really good, enjoyable. the comedy was hilarious and entertaining, haaaa.

after lunch, all the northeast people headed back to cuppage for ne training class.. where it was freezing in the room, brr. i think it's a good time altogether.. if only everyone could be there, would be so much more fun. had a mini andersonian alumni gathering, lol. me, jon, pam and pete were talking cheena nonsense at chang yue han ying se. (long john silver >_<) then moved on to macs for dinner and some planning. was walking around with pam and showed her my lovely pus-pus @ AC. (okay gay. is this cute octopus at actioncity!) Hope people were walking all over the ps.

took a train home and entertained ourselves by worrying that the insect on the panel would crawl on the lady leaning on it :X oh, there was this group of REAL twits. (or rather, twitxXx) charaterised by purple blossomz bags, desrires to be hello kitty (check out the way they camwhore... squeezing their mouths till they are almost gone) oh, and all of them are wearing purple and black themed clothes. i dont like purple already...

overslept on sunday morning, thank God yihui woke me up and chiong-ed down to nexus for vday special adults service. wow, the sermon was really really well preached! ps jeff is so so funny, but the message was really carried across strongly.

life with Him, life with purpose, life with partner.

ate with the rest of gi's team and left to find xin and shan @ taka. got ying's presents (: and left for bugis. this is bugis' crowd that day.
