hello there, this exists to help my failing memory remember things I would want to remember a few years down the road.

lack of updates, lack of updates.

since school started, life is back to the chionging for deadlines.
this block, taking history of graphic design and drawing essentials.

i think we are suay, we are the first batch taking the history module, and... it is kinda bleah :/ but ytd we were talking about some artefacts from Roman or smthg, and their typography and design, and the tcher actually had many examples of the gospels/ bible manuscripts. so... it was rather interesting for once. hoho.

drawing essentials is s c a r y .
we had to do a pointalism piece of sneakers, on A3. meaning "drawing" a pair of sneakers on A3 using only DOTS and a pen that is 01mm thick.
had still life drawing yesterday.
going to learn about drawing hands and feet later in the day, hoho.

but, i still like school.

short update before first lesson start. off to dotting. T_T

thanks to the printshop virus which is still happily in my home comp, i dont have internet access at home, am blogging from douby exchange before going over to heeren. rather comfortable place though, since its so quiet and there is not many people around, no wonder so many shops here are closing down :X

had to wake up super early yesterday to go to school for a one hour briefing. it's rather frustrating how travelling time is double the time you spent at the place you travel to ): had breakfast with classmates after that though. but only half the class turned up for the briefing lah.

went to loiter and abuse the wireless at TM and went back to school to meet philo. she needs so many hours to render her vid o.0. rather cool to enter that room that only vid students can.. hung in TP for awhile and went to IKEA@Tampines! the IKEA is located next to the giant giant and giant courts and the entire place looks like lego land, seriously. because everything seems so neat and squarish, lol.

it's my first time eating at the IKEA food place and it wont be the last man the food is niceee and we just ate and talked for almost 2hours then went to walk around IKEA and whine about how kids nowadays are so fortunate... hopped on a free cab her friend has very graciously offered and went for my first minops1 caregrp.

it was relaxed and fun.
it is so amazing how they can twist any game to make it so funny, from the "who what huh" game to a "hot hotter hottest" one. LOL.
got reminded of the attitudes about serving God and working in a team etc.
was rather awed by shuzhen's conviction and her heartfelt teaching and sharing... hopped on puay's car to AMK and trained home with the north-ers.

fruitful day, just like tues. but tues was a super duper suay day, seriously.

i left the house locking the shoes i wana wear, my phone and my keys in my room. so had to borrow my sis' phone, thank God she's home. then went to heeren to buy shorts only to realise later at home that there's some problem with it.

went to qing jiao The Geek and installed stuff into Crumbs, and stole an entire folder of songs (MUAHAHAHA x)). it was like an Apple for Dummies lecture..

and! mixed up the place for philo's screening and thank God i met Matthias on the way to Cathay and hopped up a cab to Cinne which he graciously paid too (recently keep getting free rides, hurhur).

guess it's a little milestone since it is the first time that TDS actually screen its students' work at a local cinema and we even have real tickets. but the lecturer had to keep promoting for Panasonic throughout the screening :/

must be cool to see your work on big screen...

ended the day draining brains by brainstorming with steven, philo and puay about the upcoming ESS. exciting things await man!

and guess how i ended my day?
the bird shit on my head.

i mean, no bird ever did it before.

few more days before school starts again...
and the lecturer emailed us the lesson brief already. and it looks scary, hoho.

and i just met jerel and daniel leow.
douby is a Hope hangout, met many cjcians the past few times too.

next three days' packed man.

currently slacking at The Cathay, at the nice free level five seats with Michelle and Rachelfong mugging at the next table.

i took quite a long while to realise that it was monday and the last week of school holidays, not that i would mind school starting... having some sort of laggy feling, that everyone is progressing in their school and we are holidaying after completing only two modules :/

shall catch up with my blogging:
CAMP
First Frontier camp is a lot different from the other camps i had so far. but i really did enjoy myself. after the many sessions of planning and killing braincells, it was great seeing the people enjoying the game (: day one game was alright, though the round two was a little flopped but i guess the madness made up for it all. the people took the poles we carried for them and actually pierce it right through the flag. madness, madness... was rather sad that we did not get to play the second game, because that one is really kind of blast. but i guess people would not mind getting drenched in God's presence instead of in water...

i feel rather uneasy sometimes during this camp since i was rather free. the prev camps got to take care of the people, but this camp, i had plenty of time to myself and tried to help here and there. the atmosphere right before the people come into the hall is really exciting. one interesting sight that got embedded in my mind was this one where a mm person (jiayi, actually...) was sitting at the mm booth and worshipping God with one hand in the air and the other on the laptop- just sort of reminded me that worshipping God is not about singing nice sounding songs, but really about serving Him, living to worship.

that night, some of us sat outside the lobby area and shared camp objectives which turned out to be a rather entertaining session, since all our objs were very similar :) oh, bunking in with puay and philo was nice... just do our stuffs, lie on the beds and talk then gradually fall asleep.

the second night of camp was really really enjoyable... we had our ycomm meeting- philo, puay, benwai, cong, steven and me in the extra room and shared about how we all ended up in MinOps. The stories are really divine and interesting. we were talking as though we had known one another for a long time, but this was the first meeting we had actually. after the fruitfu sharing, we hopped on ben's car and went out of the campsite for tauhuay and nasi lemak at chong pang area and had more chatting... it's great having drivers in the grp ^^ oh and this was when i discovered that everyone else in ycomm cg is 20 yrs of age and above except me. o.0

G.A.P aka God's amazing plan is an eyeopener for me. (HOT Puay!) its heartening to see the people in the district working hard tgt, on props, singing, dancing etc, and i am really proud of NORTHEAST! Thought that they did amazingly well and it was cool how they manage to involve everyone and surprise the audience. the rugby team led by huaxiang was really entertaining! and also shows how SA has grown... and freedy's random screeching amidst worrying for night game was funny too. loved the "i have finally found you... ruiyong!!!" and marcus and dengky's outstanding acting. good job man! i guess since the missions conf, i am starting to really see things in a global view.

the last night was filled with tones of catching up session with some NE people, some workout on Crumbs and a short chat with pamyeo by the swimming pool at close-to-6am which got the passerbys saying "woah, so emo..." till i started to talk nonsense, which i always do right before i fall alseep, sent her to her room, went back to mine... and overslept >_<

last day flew by and thank God puay drove me right downstairs and i just keep sleeping and sleeping...
the entire camp was awesome with the sessions just soaking in God's presence and seeing the congregation worship, soaking in the fellowship with cg mates and really getting to know them better... i met my objectives and met what i have been searching for. im refreshed. its not a mindblowing camp, but one that is consistently good...
i cant express myself very well on this ... ._. i just like it.

slept late in on friday and went to meet up the klan for sakae at j8. was rather disappointing because there just some problem with their food quality that day, and bernice amused us by ordering alot since she was controlling the mouse. so all our eyes widened when the waitor came with like almost two dozen sushi-s etc. just updated one another and ate and ate and ate... then they went to euro funfair and lays the scardey cat zao-ed home and went to sis' hse...
(panghuishan, send me photos...)

met pamyeo on sat morning and i went to cut my hair at some place that mak recommended, and noone could tell TT__TT went to walk ard with her in centrept then head down for service... i guess the sermon was really what i needed to hear, not that i suffer from eating disorders or wdv, but its timely to remember about our identity in God. loved what ps christie said about "actually, people dont really think very much about you since many times they are worrying about what you think about them!". its not some self motivation talk but one based on the everlasting truth, and thats what i need.

after that, it was back to lunch at meridien then hop on to Omelette (Puay's car) and went down to bowling @ MarinaSq. i didnt bowl but it was the BEST match i ever watched before.
look at the score:

it was this close when there's 6 more frames left!
and it was super amusing because both last players rolled their balls down the gutter for their first try when they are the deciding factor, haha! esp when leejun "aimed" for 1min then down the ball into the gutter, cong's look of disbelief is priceless man.

after bowling and dinner at kfc, the ycomm people squash into Omelette (this car is impressive, u can actually collapse the backseats to increase the space) and went to cong's house for stayover. got very nostlagic when cong played many videos of the past camps and we got to see familiar people now in those days, HAHAHA. cool thg was that many who were actually auditioning for centrestage then are serving as singers right now :)

we had some discussion, with puay being very high, then people gradually got sleepy and they claim that i am high because im young. ._." and while me n cong were by the comp, the rest slept and woke up to Macbreakfast delivery! :) ate then some went back to sleep. woke up and realised some of them had left us behind (!) so puay, cong, steven and i went to compasspt for lunch and i went home while they mahjong-ed with walmond and leejun.

and i slept through dinner and noone at home woke me up ):

that was the very exciting week... ^^V

i got to be in SSS in ten hours for FIRSTFRONTIER CAMP!

today is really physically challenging, esp for someone who has not exercised for a few months... but i decided that there should be quite alot to blog about during after camp, so i should update and not torture people with the nice pict of the eclair...

and change to this pict of...

the welcome cake that ycom leaders have very nicely prepared for steven and i.

which was eventually turned into a guess-the-number game in an attempt to finish the cake and in boredom... was rather entertaining though.. with the "50" and "51" -_-"

guess the culture is really quite different from the northeast "chionging" and rushing ard, but i will adapt fine and learn how to enjoy it too lah. after all the cake and dinner at snackworld (not le meridien seh...), was happy to meet rachfong, kar etc after their 4hr clm and had some quick ketchup. went to tcc with philo, xinyi, jiali, cong, ian and some pple join us randomly for awhile here and there... 6 people, 3 macbooks. the tcc pple were rather like then-where-we-put-the-food kind of thing, hoho.

still rather >_< sometimes but i really desire breakthroughs as i serve in a new ministry...

last week was a rather eventful week but i dont rmb why i didnt bother to blog...

went to watch a mid summers night dream with pam at cjc. was entertaining, because we couldnt understand their shakespearean lang initially and the actors and actresses had to project their voice w.o mikes since it was a play. thought they acted not bad, some of the people were rather outstanding.. had subway and left for home.

last saturday, had my last service with northeast and headed to b2 of cuppage for farewell... the place was not exactly very atmospheric so its good somewhat, cause noone teared or anything, just had affirmations and the leaving-people speaking to them. i was blabbering in my highness, whoops. then... didnt have to go for meeting so went to makan and spend time with the other zionites who didnt have to go for meeting... oh, the guys went to play lan though. really thankful for the cards and food from everyone and flowers from yihui and seepeng (that my mum got kind of paranoid about me and bringing flowers home and returning home late -_-"). special mention to dengky!

these three cards are written from him to encourage me during a particular camp, christmas last yr and the last one is the farewell card. talk about consistency... lol!

we had gi's dmm farewell at sunny's house after sending eelee off on sat too. woah, we attracted much attention at the airport, with at least a hundred people trailing after eelee and jiehui to send them off to Chile. i was impressed.

the farewell was fun too, with all the silly games and heartfelt sharing and bouts of laughter, especially due to sunny's expressions of agony on the massage chair and some emo-ness here and there. broke my record by reaching home at 3+ am since i didnt want to stay over.. thank God jontay drives..

this week,
the word for life sessions were helpful... was sitting with zionites and it made it funner i guess. before the wed session, went to watch POTC3 with huishan, xin, jasm and ying. i think that potc2 is nicer... but this blockbuster is rather value for money lah, unlike... nvm. managed to trick cixin out the day before to chiong potc1 and abit of 2 with me at the cathay after getting them on cong's harddisk. he is a pirate.

oh yah, illustrator class was super fun! never knew illustrator is so cool one lah.. matthias taught well and hopefully through this, ycom standard will be raised to another level. (:

TODAY, my sister is such an important figure that when she invites my friends to show up for my nephew's firstmonth celeb, the entire clique shows up, which is so.. hard, since there's seven people. but we were all there, and the ajcians were teaching us stupid games :X

anw thanks for going, really appreciate it.

then i headed to SSS and helped with games and writing nametags till 9+, then went to eat with the northeasters and am home...

shall go to pack bag and prepare myself. (:
back in four days envisioned and refreshed!

let's see, holidays have been busier than schooldays, as of now but had fair share of happy moments.

FOODFEST with the ZIONITES. haha, to think i didnt want to go.. because i dont like crowded places filled with aunties. but they did the democratic way, voted and i got overruled so we headed over to expo anyway.

this is THE eclairs. lol. actually its not, we were thinking about the eclairs we ate during the buffet when we saw the eclairs they were selling at the fest, then some auntie approached us to ask to share to buy the box with 30 trays of eclairs or smthg, so we bought 4 trays with 12 eclairs and each one of us ate 4. MUAHAHA. (: it was good.

oh, the 328 katong laksa was super good also. along with the cans of Whatever! for those who cant decide what they want to drink :P and (fake) shark fins soup, otah, smelly tofu (they tried, i zao-ed), beijing pekking duck (is this what it is called?) etc i dont rmb alr. special mentions go to this retarded paper chicken thing. omg, super embarrassing. we all thought its one whole pc of chicken in the paper thing, so they told me to just bite right through, and so i did, BUT CANNOT BITE, very hard. then the uncle came and "xiao mei, yao xian na diao zhi cai ke yi chi!!! (girl, must take away the paper then can eat!!!)" OMG. we laughed and zaoed.

so it was fun, but i wont call it a foodfest. pple just promote normal items u see, nthg exotic or cool there...

(insert photo of us tt is still with petetong.)

wednesday had shopping around for games with freedyp and then walked over to meet nea2 and went for relationship seminar. was rather interesting.

the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence, it is greener where you water it.

life with God, life with a mission, life with a mate.
because thats how God created us in the first place in Genesis 2, in that order.

yesterday's missions conference was cool, rather eye opening for me who always think we need to win spore. in that 8 hours, i learn more names of countires and states than i ever did in my ten yrs of education and 4 yrs of geography. ppft.

we talk about the second coming when half of the world hasnt heard of the first.

heard about people who are really involved in missions work for so many yrs of their lives speak, speak with great conviction, speak because they have been there, done that and they truly know the hope those far lack.

i guess right now, i still cannot imagine myself church planting (!) or even going over to existing churches to help out, its a big thing for me lah. but i wont rule out the possibility of missions... still seems rather interesting and enriching for me. (:

oh, pastor ben and diane prayed for eelee. woah. was touching... i still rmb eelee was still taking care of northeast when i joined NE and was a disconnected believer who somehow went to northeast camp. and she prayed for me to be baptised in the spirit. her life has impacted many, here and it will in Chile man. hmm. note to self: bring tissue BOX on saturday.

i cant get it and i feel so helpless with you.
