hello there, this exists to help my failing memory remember things I would want to remember a few years down the road.

How was your Monday..?
I am hibernating at home,
down with gastritis.
(because saying that you have gastrics is like saying you have a head when you get headaches)

Went to visit Pamyeo at NUS yesterday,
gobbled down a kebab wrap when I was starving & was in pain after for a few hours.
Thought it was indigestion, apparently not.
Merlioned twice yesterday night....

Shit happens,
and often comes in heaps.

(photocredits afterschool)
Looking at the photostream of where I could have been hurts man.
The bearer of bad news has finally told me to bid goodbye to Hongkong, to Pokit Consultancy and Afterschool cafe, because of H1N1.
(Nevermind that Spore has just about a hundred less cases than HK)

I was supposed to be there for overseas internship late july, aka a month later.
The chance seems so godsent sometimes, the privileges, the place and the philosophy of the boss. God gives and He takes away, and I am trusting it's for the better,
that I obviously cannot see now.
I am back to the very same point I was at in April,
wondering which local company to go to,
just that now almost everyone is hired & at great places.

._.
alright, going off to smash up tablets.
(I feel rather loved when people smash up tablets for me when I am sick, cause I still can't swallow them!)

ball of crank
I am having pre-school blues.
Two weeks just seem so short when I rot the first one away being nua and sick after camp, haha.
Oh well. And I have Effective Internet Research at 9am, what kind of module $%$#0.
While I was not being a pig and sleeping, I went...

catching up with esther, munyee, jingrong & susan.

it's been six years since we last spoke properly, and crossed 2 life stations, and they are going on to their third. Glad to see everyone doing well, and how little we have changed. Haha.

Was lucky to catch Szechin while he was back in SG and we had a little lunch together :D
He said the little girl has turned into a fine young lady HAHAHAHA.

to the science centre we went!

stupid scary moving dino and a tiny yiyou.

felt like a little kid again, and a science g33k

We supposedly went for Da Vinci the Genius, but we got super entertained with everything else at the science centre. The freaky Einstein climbing up and down the rope has been climbing for the past ten years?

We had loads of fun and yes,
Da Vinci has an amazing brain and blended the fields of engineering, science arts seamlessly.
No phototaking allowed so nothing to post. I would say it's interesting, just that 15bucks is so arghhh, haha, since everything on display are duplicates, his works are considered too precious and fragile to be moved around or even displayed.

"Art is never finished, just abandoned"

Like what he said^, think it's so true

I have been impressed with the urgency of doing.
Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.

And this aptly sums up the MinOps spirit! HAHA.

Then came the...

HAHA this is what a picnic is supposed to have- lush grass and blue sky and rolling clouds (stop laughing classmates!)

But we had the gloomy skies and drizzles as we sit at a corner and picnic-ed on concrete ground :( BUT our little pikkuniku @ the baarage was not dampened by the rain!

(oh I love love dslr photos, don't need edit. Thank you zy!)

my fav polaroids yet:

the sun peeped out and we went bounding up the curvy grassy place,

hope the film ones turn out!
Eh rayson and terence came along too,
hmm...we forgot about group photo ._.

our kite flying didn't go all that well,
but nuo was persevering!

sigh, I love this bunch so much, you guys are awesome.
I am still sorry for skipping so many outings, I really want to go one...
I hope we stay friends though school's drawing to an end. :(

had a little strudel date with Puay

O, my tamagotchi has become a cute strawberry Poks under her hands.

I love mango strudels so!
And I like listening to you, Puay,
though you can be very ambiguous and your mind is drifting off so much...HA.

*

And Saturday ended with a simple and fun time, saying byebye to Jiali and DK.

sorry random photo

love hunluan photo!

and cute nonsense one!

Thank you for the little dedication post to us jiali,
lays thinks you guys will do so very well in the new cg! :D

*backaches*
Okay, seems more fruitful that I remembered actually.
May this very last block be good...
Oh man, I really don't want school to end.
Nor do I want it to start tomorrow.
I am an irony!

I am unstoppable!

Unstoppable has the nicest set of camp photos yet, IMO.
(Cong your skills are good :D)
Here are some that means something to me, check out the rest HERE.

gi explaining about endurance,

one of the many worship sessions that left many touched and changed,

a bunch that taught me much by showing me how they gave their best even when things didn't go ideal,

yes, this bunch (missing quek), love y'all, keep running on!

love the little moments of free time we have and how we practise our gift of self entertainment.

boys in blue and girls in pink for the battle of the sexes,
a wonderful mega event. kudos to deb and team!!

and an amazing one, haha!

Just like this photo very much, haha!
The people that put their hearts in to run Y-Hope.

the caregroup that spurs one another on :D

My co-workers that are so very lovely!

(super blur, but I like)

Thanks for everything Yiyou :D
-for the willingness, hard work, faithfulness & thoughtfulness!

Thank you Asher Liew, for leading this camp with faith and hard work,
and being with us on the battleground, giving what you can, showing so much concern and making every one of us feel appreciated!
you rock!

Yes, it's that surreal feeling when camp ends.
You remember all the meetings held, the calling up of various people, the day zero set up, and before you know it, you are slumped here, blown away by what the 4 days 3 nights brought you, and trying to collate those thoughts so they won't end when the camp ends.

I am thankful Voon got the entire caregroup to share, it's heartening and encouraging to hear everyone's response, and to just gather together and see one another again. Go, MinOps one!

I took time to think through this afternoon, over Honeydew Yami Yoghurt (with Honey Oats) and feeling super happy over that outlet's colourful speckled table (I got weakness for colourful speckles on white/neutral) and starting my little Typo project, haha!

I realised that my cynicism shows a lack of faith in His sovereign plan, which is not a good thing at all. I don't think I can ever revert back to the energetic vibant (*coughs) happyhouse girl that was pretty much ignorant, but I hope to be more faithfilled and childlike when relating with Him. I think at many points, I kind of given up on myself, that I just lived casually and as I would like, but He never did, and I know my best is in Him.

In my cynical nature, I look around me, at the shit that's happening on the news, and I wonder, why did God ever love us and not any other creature? He chose to leave his gospel with the twelve "jokers" turn powerful disciples, knowing full well their weaknesses, and yet knowing they will keep the Good News until today, when we will hear about it. Just so amazing.

I realise along this walk with Him, that I lose the whole point many times. I tried my best to do so many things right, and I did, to the best I know how, forgetting the essence of it. I tried my best to make my ex-cg awesome, tried many new methods of doing things, and I wonder if I showed the people loving God goes beyond attending caregroup & doing the right things, I wonder how they are doing in life now when they are far away.

When I am ready with all this, and a soft heart wanting to know You more and more,
I understand the church is a refuge for the world, and not from it,
where will you plant me?

*

That's the gist of it,
the full camp thoughs are hidden away in a .doc somewhere.

There's sand in my throat.

A bunch of us went to wave byebye to the HK delegates as they head back home after camp. I really do hope I get to see them again, and that the swine flu situation would improve..!

Post camp thoughts will be up soon.
~^^~

Here's a summary of some stuff that happened before Camp that I never got a chance to blog about.

The shepherd and I finally met up after some time to just chillax tgt.

We went to Outram for porridge at this damn old school place,

and finally headed to Casual Poet.
I dropped them a little card thanking them for the intro to Aftershool, which I am going to intern at if all goes well :D

The place is really small but a nice escape from SG's normal food places/cafes.

Thank you for your time Philo, especially on the camp night :D

*

Dear huishan bought us all gerberas one night when we went for CP's nasilemak and tauhuay.
I love gerberas!

Time is Breakfast, because when I have time, then I eat breakfast!
I told Nuonuo this for her Time calendar, and check out her awesome piece HERE.
I am so proud of my illus friends.

Technically, I ate this breakfast at lunch time with my awesome nMedia mates, at TCC @ T3.
So glad we put everything together well.

Took extra efforts to make the brief look pretty for our y-comm Date DIW.

I think everyone had fun and learn something!
For more details, check out (the soon to be updated) wordpress, HAHA!
