hello there, this exists to help my failing memory remember things I would want to remember a few years down the road.

Yesterday was Advertising Class, and these are my Ad groupmates :D

Oh, and food from Bistrowalk.
Set meal cheap and good.

After that was cowcarwater with them, for cloth and nice buttons and tutukueh and muachee and photog exhibition and theasylum and booksactually and fun...

I was of too high chroma of a blue to join the photo ;(
and Zhiying was yellow.

This is our blur group shot.

The very intelligent us put my cam on Crumbs and a bag in front of the MRT door, with 10seconds self timer, and thank God it flashed and snapped right before the train stop and the people come trampling out. Phew. That explains our duper happy expressions..

Nowadays it isn't how it was like anymore.
School is more complicated.
Or maybe I just never saw.
But I am still enjoying it... :)
Thanks for everything you guys.

Dice
Overdue photos from the Sunday out with Philo and Jia,
where Philo has to be a board game character and go around throwing a giant dice and walking the number of steps indicated by the dice, and buying stuff using Monopoly moolah.

We went around with her to experience strange stares and sadistic people chanting "one!, one", hoping that the dice will keep showing one and it will take her forever to move to her destination.

This is the photographer and the videographer for the day:

:D
I love the Otah the Otah man under Philos block sell.

Apple
Think that is a Mac?
Look closer :D
(The Loser sign is from Jiayi, lol)

And this is why people say that Apple is more than a brand.

Not that I am an ultra fan, I think Apple is not perfect, but you can't deny its powerrr.
I don't want the whole world to be getting Macs though. :/

In web class now, learning about making websites.
Since we are starting from scratch, it's all about making old school effects now, think annoying blinking icons and animation jumping spastic-ly across the screen.

Quite fun though.
Hohoho.

JUMP 2008
Pictures from my humble semiD Ricoh of JUMP : )

This is Yiyou's massive badge.

I guess those that went would know,
it started with this:

Drizzle that got heavier, stopped a little, then came back and finally stopped for good.
But that didn't dampen the atmosphere at all...

I wasn't anywhere near the stage, but could still feel the energy and enjoyed myself.
Learnt and experienced that serving God can be in little things too,
like lugging all the garbage bags with your cg friends to the rubbish dump (when everyone has left the place happy, sweaty and smelly)

selling drinks and helping in little things.

But this gave me a chance to take photos too.

people,

many people,

many many people.

Each one a Soul that another has painstakingly taken care of,
passed on the knowledge and understanding of God, one by one, a little flame grew to one this size. The photos aren't doing the real scene much justice, but that night my heart was thankful.

Thankful to be one of those that is able to witness this sight, and understand it, not thinking that it is foolish. Thankful for the goodhearted people we have, that do their best and ought to be credited for this sight. Thankful that it doesn't stop at here too.

I want to remember to count my blessings, so here goes...

Thanks Ying, for stopping by and killing time with me on Friday.

You're still the same girl who laughs at the same things, likes to eat (hehehe) and is just so sweet. Jiayouuuu for the papers!

Thanks Pamela for this pretty cube that prolly costs more than an ordinary postit cube.

It's pretty with the square grid that I love.
Thank you for the magazines too, though.. despite the warning sms, several innocent male eyes still saw some pages in the magazines, hahaha.
when will I return you man ._.
You'll be the special friend with an entire album dedicated to you on my picasa man, lol.

And.. YT.

(this is my bday present to her, and she stuck her drawing of us over the photo 'cause she thinks we look funny.)

Thanks for staying up all night and morning skyping with me, through our mothers' nagging, supercute eggtard and my endless ranting,
Thanks for waking me up though I completely have no recollection of it );
(I have a powerful subconscious self that will tell my dear morning-callers, in a very clear tone, that I am awake and go back to sleep)

I treasure all of you in my life plenty (:

Xin the very onZ and kind followed me on 2 busrides to school to take random photos, print my stuff, and sit through the meetings I have in the airport. :D
Now she's opposite me, receiving all the radiation from Crumbs while doing physics.

Thank you girl, your presence means a lot :D
Though you sing many random songs, cut many paper, mumble weird stuff,
Thanks for coming with me. <3

Let's not get slammed tomorrow.
It shall be a nice Friday, ending with praises under the stars.

iloveyoupang!

Received a spongy package in the mail after a long day and was wondering if I ordered something online that I don't recall. Then I saw the handwriting and the happy "Thanks Mr Postman x)" and I know it's dear panghuishan.

Thankyou my dear makmak!
"Got you marshmallows, don't know if you still like it now."
Yes Pang, I still like them, and I am touched you actually remember.
<3

Got to salute this group of lovely people that will remember who likes marshmallows and who doesn't, who likes crabstick, mayo, and random food that the rest don't.

Jiayou you guys who are mugging your ass off (too many to list),
You're in my prayers :D

(from made-in-england.org)

Today we finally got a nod and smile from Mr.F,
More "focus!", "10am sharp", "ideas, ideas, more, more." and let's hope we get a little break.
Jiayou Natt/Minda/Vincent. :D

I called MOE twice, lol, to ask some test format for my tutee, kinda interesting.
since it's only MCQ (and some writing), let's hope he gets through it successfully.

And yes, I got to finish up my work and send it for print..

fa cai seven
Today after church, I went to attend a temple's 7th month dinner, how ironic.
Was only there for my Mum's sake.

So might as well... self-entertain right.

So I went for my mini-photoshoot at the chinese opera place.
Self-built tentage, look at the spars, haha!

and they were so kind they just asked me to go up.
So I whisked around the place and took a few shots, was only there for a few minutes, 'cause felt quite out of place, lol. The shots aren't fantastic, 'cause I was rushing through, but the experience was great. Some lady had a DSLR but she was just standing in front -_-"

she's really funny. she was like "oh I strike lottery!" *poses with ticket then,
"aye no no cannot spoil my image" so she sat there and gave me that professional smile.

and the woman, the director behind the show..!

Watched two completely different kind of shows back-to-back
(yellowmonkey on fri and opera on sat),
just... have this sense of admiration for these opera performers.
They have no glam make-up stations nor stylists, they do their make-up themselves. They survive on two lok-kok speakers that echo quite badly, with no CD player, the artist just sing from backstage when they need "background music". Their stage is always temporary, yet the setting is beautifully and intricately painted. Their audience can be counted with your fingers and toes.

I always wonder if they have a fulltime job or if they do this for all their time.
Whether they do it for their gods' sake, or for the sake of this Art, there's this sort of charm that I finally see tonight I never appreciated.

On the other hand, some too-rich fella paid 12k for a piece of ornament.
and people pay a few hundreds for two packs of normal rice.
just because they added "fa cai" in front of them, their market value seem to multiply.
-_-

My bro-in-law was saying that they should bring Macbook Air or something, then the people will be like "what's that thin metal thing? Uh, $299 la." Then I will go "$399!" and then I will win the bid. ^^"
Yes we were bored.

I wonder, ten-twenty years down, will this still remain?
Maybe it will change to be in an aircon tentage with mp3s and laptops for bidding and all done in English?

I hope not.

yellowmonkey
Friday was spent bustling here and there,
and ended with YellowMonkey at the Esplanade with Pamyeo. :D
The entire ticket purchasing episode was very very annoying, thank you Jacq and Shirls for saving the day and buying the extra tickets!

pretty view from the foodcourt during dinner

after the show...

and over banana split,

someone felt artistic, and drew this when I asked for an architecture design.

one of the rare people that can make me camwhore with them:

blur, but i like

failed attempt at something, hehe

(:

The dance piece is well, really abstract.
The themes explored were all very interesting, and had our first post-show dialogue with the director..! Of course we just listened lah, we're shy people.

pamyeo, when you are done with As, we'll do more of this :D

I have been sleeping like I haven't slept for a long time.
I am sleeping like 8hrs, or even 11 and 12. :X

My tutee thinks I have a good sense of humour, hahaha..!
I am doing not bad on my first job!
Let's hope this lasts even through the killerblock a few weeks down.

I am spamming everyone's inbox-es, scanning and mistreating library books, panicking about not doing thumbnails at 247am, editing jump badges, ranting into my ranting window CMYT and feeling so very hungry.

(opened this window at 104am but only published post at 250 or so, was chatting with the Penguin :D)

Today marks my first PictureHouse film, and my second M18 show.
Getting in was smooth, they didn't even bother checking, hohoho.

Caught Bad Habits with Pamela! <3 I tell you, she is... as psycho as the show can get. She predicted what's going to happen effortlessly. But still the show was something different, like the feel of it, like the lighting even, "rim lighting" keep going around in my head ._.

Then climbed the stairway-to-Old School and went to Recess as usual. (Bistrogaga too atas for us) Had tortillas, this time with smoked duck. Happy happy. Her Wafu Fish was good too. Hunger took over whatever photographic instincts.

Ended the night with a long bus ride home.
Long time since we been out and the night was so fun.
If sistic decides to work, we'll be out together Friday too :D

(credits: Minda, for leg + fuzzy cute blue shoe. Haha!)

Today's 7hour brainFRY session became a 5hour one (minus lateness, lunch break and going off early). Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, laughed quite a bit too, hohoho.

I see a happy week ahead...
just that I am spending a.lot.of.money.

Still happy. :D

Today was one of those days, I leave house physically, but my mind still stay under the covers on the pigsty. Don't know why so lethargic man...

Sunday night was spent with the lovely people, over not-so-lovely food.
Had a Zion get-together again, to mass-celebrate emu/rachel/cong's birthdays, but well... I guess the meetup with one another was the key :X

No group shot, cause it wasn't complete without a Bell~
Some random shots while walking home (For Rach) and to the busstop with Quek, Pete and FongFong.
(Kar went home while Cong and Emu went prawning again)

Jiayou with everything, dear girl :)

Overcome the JC system, guys..!

uh..
