hello there, this exists to help my failing memory remember things I would want to remember a few years down the road.

This week feels like the longest one, ever.

What we have been doing is equivalent to taking two modules, so she says.
Today is the day that I begin to sit back, enjoy the great company and fun time.

Had dinner with these people and a long sitting-on-the-curb-with-a-roach-session, talking about dreams, about people, anticipations and whatnot.

My supposedly good phone gives fuzzy holga colour photos, I have mixed feelings about this, lol.

Caught really pretty skies recently.
A rainbow one at dusk over my block of flats, a really glorious one in my morning dream and an orange ball disappearing behind the horizon on a pink-tainted ('cause TDS has purple windows) sky. But, woah, sunset!!!

And... my camera did not do justice to any of them and I cant photography my dream, unfortunately. so... :/

*

Snippets off the journal that I wrote on the last bus home from Tampines.

"Me.
I like making beautiful things out of my bare hands and mind.
I like making things which make people happy, let them breathe in a world that is dying and wasting away.
I love the people He gave me, I love love. I love pretty sunset skies, like the one I just saw this dusk."

"I want to be the person that make people's messages clearer, be the one that create the things that will make the recipients smile a priceless smile people will pay anything for, yet cannot buy."

Haha, yes, i don't usually blog like that.

Dear Bernice had a quick lunch at the heartlands with me, packed a part of my room and went home. I get very touched when people want to pack up my sty for me, 'cause it really looks impossible. I insist it's organised but messy.

I'm looking at blank open canvases and blank layout pad with a blank mind ._.

Life when fourteen is an aimless yacht, stopping by random places in all its spontaneity,
Life four years later is a submarine, bobbing up and down in the waters, thinking it knows its way.

Bosses
I love it when gmail tells me it has successfully sent my mail, especially when it concerns if my head will roll. Survived yet another month (:

Despite having severe brain drain, I am rather happy.
Stumbled upon this song by the The Pierces called Secret and thought that it's really kind of cool, like what YT said, will fit well into Tim Burton's films, hahaha. Love it.
And I was trying to find time to go to HMV to grab their CD and yao gave me this deal to buy the entire album online so the songs are happily in Cream now, hoho. Click here if you want to hear the song. ^^

Went to Thieves' Market with Pammie a few days back. It is really quite different, not like we have much to buy... wanted to get this pretty bag until I realise it's moldy, lol. And yeah, Haji Lane is really overrated. She is really my fav cabbing partner, since running to flag cabs home from CLMs to now (:

Lemme blog about my bosses.

This was from my dear Boss and shepherd, Philo.
I don't think you'll have time to stop by this blog... haha. Was pleasantly surprised when she came with many of those pretty cupcakes for some girls, as Easter present. People hardly give out Easter pressies and you actually took the time to personalise this amidst yr crazy work. Arigato plenty (:

This is my new Boss.
He is a super diligent, bao-ga-liao boss.
But with this comes high expectations and standards. It's tough now but I hope the fruits of all this labour will smell so, so, sweet.

This is a Holiday that is busier than schooldays ._.
But I still want to catch up with people, even if that means lesser sleep..

This is what I will call a mix of emotions.
The intense heavy pain and disappointment, the mild sense of lost, and that nagging little voice of determination, subtle emptiness and what not.

Yes, this is a rare emo post.

This is a beautiful Easter though. I came to Nexus empty, not expecting much due to the weariness from early morning and little sleep. Yet all the truths spoken just filled up that little hungriness of the heart. I am glad, I was touched.

Those ugly moments to no one I would show, yet You know and understand.

Memorable twenty-second-th.
Really glad for Yao and Xinyi, really glad the animation and song turned out really well, glad to have YT around to kaciao...

I'll ride through with you, God. Be with me...
Selfish people we all are.
Jesus, please take the wheel. Steer me to where you know I need to be best.

4 more weeks before scary year two.
what will i do?

"Life's too short to be anyone else."

It's really quite confusing.

Holidays are here, today's only day two.
have been really busy packing it up with things to do and people to meet, a bad old habit of mine.

went shoe shopping, lunch-ed with yt and shern, did a bday card, watched stepuptwo with carmen, had caregroup, met chia for lunch and chitchat,
huffsandpantsandhuffsandpants,
next few days are full too.
But I am really excited. (:

may this be the most fruitful one yet.

Taken from yiyou's fatfaith, no idea where she got it from.

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was tired of hearing all the bickering.

Finally fed up, God said, "THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I am going to set up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I will judge who does the better job."

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.

They faxed.

They e-mailed.

They e-mailed with attachments.

They downloaded.

They did spreadsheets!

They wrote reports.

They created labels and cards.

They created charts and graphs.

They did some genealogy reports

They did every job known to man.

Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than hell.

Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the power went off..

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld. Jesus just sighed.

Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming: "It's gone! It's all GONE! "I lost everything when the power went out!"

Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files from the past two hours of work.

Satan observed this and became irate.

"Wait!" he screamed. "That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all his work and I don't have any?"

God just shrugged and said,

JESUS SAVES

The latest issue of idN just flew in and settled in my mailbox, was rather happy to finally receive it. The feeling is as delightful as huge spongy envelopes with clothes :X

Went to the TDS grad show on Thu with Yingnuo and YT.
The wow-i-am-so-blown-away feeling was really low this year. I remember being so awed by everything last year and at NAFA's VC also leh. I wonder if it's because I am studying this now or what.

There is really a commendable number of Illus pieces and even those graphics people did Illus. There was this weird sense of familiarity, like we have seen those styles before, somewhere, someone.

That's when I feel I really need to find a style of my own, yet be very versatile and can "bao-ga-liao". Want to do something not yet seen before, creating it with my hands and seeing it come to life.

It's tough competition now man, SP had their grad show at vivo and publicised in idN ._. but I knew it too late to go take a look. Think it will be rather interesting.

Still want to do this, and do it well...

Another Haruhi

Ever since I got Crisp the psp, I have been feasting on all the anime kind souls have been feeding me with. Just finished 14 epis of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi today. Let's just say I was .____. The entire series was fun and entertaining but I wasn't too fond of the ending.

It is definitely one of a kind I feel and I wish I could have some of Haruhi's energy and courage as she goes about doing things she want to do, so spontaneous and to the point. <:

My supplier has kind of given up on Bleach so I might have to go find another, lol.
FMA was really, really great.
Zombie Loan was good. CONTINUATION IS COMING SOON! (:

After work.
Tuesday, I'm anticipating you so very much.

ikeaaaa
Ikea-ed with pang, ang, wong and chng!
They came over for me and chng the eastsch people and we ate, walked around and discussed about house decor. Then came the very typical conclusion when my friends will decide I won't appreciate their warm house decor and tell me not to visit their homes T.T, cause I prefer modern houses, sleek and strong.

We came to the tiny 22m.sq room suited for a bachelor but apparently, they think it is very suitable for me, messy, disorganised, super lazy with everything within reach. (One of them even said that my upperdeck bed will be super neat 'cause I will just sleep on the sofa after doing work.) All the room needed was a few packs of chips, food crumbs and the inhabitant, me. Lol. They are very right, I sincerely like that room. It looks smthg like this, pardon the fuzzy image:

image taken at Ikea Tampines, sg.

This isn't like my real-dream room, but it's the closest one when you think practical. The real dream room I drew when I was damn bored in sec 2 is pretty much "unrealisable".

We went our separate ways outside ikea to bus home and yay, cixin 969-ed with me, that long bus ride and she gave me motivation to learn animation. Let's hope it works out ^^"

Shall advance-book them before they disappear behind their tys.

it's people that matter to you, that make you smile and laugh and you truly mean it.
it's the same people that break you and hurt you like no other can.

I would like to chop you away, my stupid tonsils.
>: (

Swopped the highly sought after Meta concert with Mum's birthday celebration. Well, it's not really a rah rah celebration, just a nice meal togethher. Wanted to spend some time with her before doing work but i konked out till three am after dinner :| Was at Nexus since morning to help with registration and sneaked away to SMU for their flea market. Visited dear Zhiying there, got her to help me sell some stuff :X and walked around with Carmen.

Haha, it's really quite entertaining 'cause many of the onlineLJshop people are there. It's interesting seeing those people live since they normally pose online and crop their faces away or pose sweetly with loads of makeup. Braved the rain afterward to develop my holga roll.

Hmmhmm.
Cant wait for holiday and fresh air.
Though everyone will probably be too busy again.

It's great having people close to you, in terms of proximity.
Having a meal with the clique was much easier in the past. Now this calls for a advance booking. I miss you people, and soon you'll be sucked away by the Alevel quicksand. Having a meeting meal with Zion was necessity, now we waved hi to one another if we happen to meet on Saturdays.

Attachment?

The National Anthem's tune is playing on the radio,
There's the soft sound of Uncle's broom against the floor downstairs,
The sky is getting a little less dark.

I give up on searching ):
Time to hit the bed.

Because weekends smell sweet

Finished the whole Ouran High series last week, 'cept for one spoilt episode, am on the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya now. (Thank you wuchong the supplier!) Must be anime overdose, been behaving like anime characters, like when talking to people, my mind auto adds in those words and pictures behind the people like how anime always do it... And yes, love the twins, they're really cute man.

Went to CLM for the first time since I joined MinOps today, it feels pretty much the same... Maybe a little noisier, but just being in the room as those faithful and diligent people on the battlefield makes one a little more excited and more energised. (; The talking with Ben and Yiyou before service was rather interesting, really. Never could trash stuff like that. The night ended with an impromptu meetup with Rachel (:

The world is really a complicated place. There are so many things that I don't understand, and probably won't, things that amaze me at how they work... Seeing my parents trying to catch up with this crazy fast world isn't a very nice thing. They aren't exactly young nor have much education, and it always makes me feel that they'll never be able to catch up with this pace that everyone else is moving at.

(:
Some thoughts have been going through my mind recently.
And I searched a very simple word on biblegateway, and this is what I got.

Ecclesiastes 5:18-20

18Then I realized that it is good and proper for a man to eat and drink, and to find satisfaction in his toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given him—for this is his lot. 19 Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work—this is a gift of God. 20 He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.

This is powerful.
You made me smile.

LEAP DAY
Long overdue, but in case I don't remember what I was doing on leap day '08...
Went to the Zoo with Minops1!

pretty coloured photo.
uhm, I remember taking a polaroid with parrots ? years ago at the zoo, but I was so scared cus they gripped my flesh with their claws, so I refuse to go near them this time. but now improve alr, got twig ._.

Love!
OTTERS (:
they enjoy basking in the attention more than in the sun,

this is possibly the only non-blur photo cus they were swimming soooo quickly

them being affectionate~ haha!

I left halfway for kj's class (-_-") so didn't see many of the other animals. Wanted to see giraffes T_T Oh, and the baboons are seriously gross. One of them walked towards us, started peeing and... flicked and splatter its pee around.

The whacky people who went to the zoooo

Wished I could stay longer but had a great day there too.
Rather memorable leap day. (:

*

The first ever Minops1a caregroup.
Had it at Mindscafe@bugis.

Spent the entire 2 hours day playing one game of The Game of Life.

The pretty wheel that generated Philo & I tones of 50ks *sniggers

Our lesbian car :X
cus it's a 6players game so we teamed up against all the guys.

The finish point.
Ben put himself in the front of his red car and his wife/kid at the backseat far away.
Kaixiang and his orange car with his ahem, gay friend.
Steven, Cong and Jinqiang, the normal ones who opted for a healthy marriage and their blue, green white cars.
Cong's white car has no driver, haha!

It was fun and the food was not bad too.
Good start to a new chapter I guess..

(Aye Klan, go some day k. we can laugh ourselves mad. stress relievers for you people (: )
