hello there, this exists to help my failing memory remember things I would want to remember a few years down the road.

saturday was fun, generally.

met up with tian and sarah before service and hung at the escalator leading up to cuppage level six.. saw many grads people walking around and towards america room for their farewell. T_T
service's worship was well-led, atmosphere was sky-high, enjoyed my time...

had an interesting affirmation session during meeting though i was squeezing my way through to pass the tiny marshmallow with choc to the grads people as a tiny farewell gift. omly realised the great number of dear grads 06/07 leaving when they stood up to be prayed for. the entire meeting was rather rushed, and the cool teaching about david and goliath was rushed too. :/

the CLs then rushed off to take the coach to ECP for our retreat.
the bus driver was rather legalistic, and refused to allow standing on the bus, so a dozen people have to make their way there on public transport ):

it was a hilarious bus journey.
yihui was supposed to take photos of urban landscape for her geog. (aj rather lame...) then the driver, whom i initially thought was a mean guy, was so funny! he slowed the bus just so yihui could catch the sights on film. then he keep "QUICK! TAKE THAT! THE SUN etc" causing the camera people to be more than flustered.

oh, we saw the almost completed ferris wheel!
it looks rather out of place being in spore, but yay, hope to go there and take a ride in the near furture..

started off the retreat with food.
and games.
in which i was somehow made the teamleader unknowingly ._." but not bad lah, got to know some new CLs from other districts. (: carried on with the programme with best CL of the district awards and shirls spoke to us...

after that, phototaking, and many people got to zao already...
walked to get drinks with pete,deng,rach and gi. more phototaking, making use of the awesome wind...

then it rained, zzz, and out plans were screwed up. ): thus, no more cycling! T_T

walked and cabbed down to cinne with rach, sun and alvin for Music&Lyrics!
my first latenight film, yah, rather loser i know.
met up with freedy who very nicely booked ticket for us and BK-ed, played some photohunt and caught the movie at 2am >_< some links at youtube courtesy of sunnyleow: (the song is nice, but you'll appreciate it more if you watch the show.)

i fell asleep for a while during the film :X thank God alvin woke me up, rach fell alseep for awhile too... haha. we then cabbed back to the chalet to pei deng and jon who decided to forgo movies. (yah, $$$)
by then, jon konked out already, so me,rach,sun headed over to macs with deng for breakfast.

uhm, i dont know what happened because i fell asleep for ten mins?... deng is the only one who ate at first cause the rest just konk out too. then they woke up and eat and we left the chalet...
kinda sad that we miss sunrise/cycling because of the rain...
next time shall be better. (:

after a v long 3-bus journey home, i bathe and slept at 9am.
and woke up at a glorious time of 430 pm and ate duck rice for breakfast >_>

i am really aging.
last time after chalet/stayover/training camp, all i need is 2 or 3 hours of sleep...
