ILSG!
Today's photoshoot attempt can be summarised in this. We got caught by unfriendly malay station man and he told us we need a letter to take the photos. But by then I already went up a train took the interior and came back down. Some other pathetic and no-mood-to-edit photos: never ending road the wait is too long for some love the entire colour of that place, this mood the beign and brown brings. So Zhiying, you missed out nothing, we will head somewhere better next time! Hope you found some lomo love in the land of lomo! Undefeated, we (YT and I) headed to TigerTraslate Museum. It's really not what the name suggests, it's more like an adventure trail. Some of the stores in the Ann siang/chinatown area lent a teeny bit of their storespace to the tiger translate artists, so you got to walk round to see all the artworks. It's like a piece per shop, had ten altogether. We went to like 8, 'cause 2 of the ten locations are pubs and they are dark and flooded with drinking people. See what? It ain't that impressive, but the piece by kuanth in Anthropology is mindblowing due to its massive detailing. Ooh. Love Books Actually, a bookstore on Ann Siang Road. Love their selection of books. Makes me want to have my own quaint little arty books cafe. Got this there: It's a illustrated comic piece by a local artist, xin. Like the honesty in it, can relate with it quite well. And I think I've fulfilled my IloveSG pledge! (And I am never going to hit my bank account target) I am not a patriot. But I am patriotic about supporting local artists and local art works, film, illus, theatre, whatever. Supporting them with the hope that someone else will support me And yes YT, I will buy your postman story once you get it published! 0 Comments: |
