He painted the evening sky,
Pretty rainbow sky I saw when I got home. Been a while since I saw something like this. It fades from the bright sky blue to this pale minty green to the gentle yellow, and finally the orange and red hues of dusk. The photo is taken with my louya pok phone and with no editing :D, doesn't do the real sky much justice though. It's the 20th month of bulletin-ing. It doesn't seem like much work when I look at the finished piece myself, and I wonder why it takes so long to do... The process can be enjoyable, especially when I don't get stuck too much. May there be a fountain of ideas flowing in my head, so this is easier to do. And may it be pleasing onto You, 'cause I did what I can. yawn. Oh and this block.. I have 9 days of school out of 4 weeks. HA HA HAHAHA. |

And I was quite happy with what I came out with I guess, not entirely satisfied, 'cause I tried so hard exploring different styles, but I guess it still worked out alright. (I can't show you 'cause I was stupid and didn't take photos of the final products -_-) Packaging gives the most wonderful sense of achievement i guess, 'cause not only you see something that was on your screen on huge paper before you so tangible, you see it all pop up and 3D. End Block weekend was good, and uh, hello Lap 3 of the 4month marathon, the only block I get to terrorise YT, yayyy. Sunday Today was spent with the MinOps unit for caregroup. Qianjin's God Bless You game was really quite entertaining, and Shuz asked important questions. I think many questions have been circling in my mind, and I am cranky and making life difficult for some... which isn't good. I do not know what to do about it, but I still trust God is in control. To people who got cranked by cranky me, I am sorry, especially to the shepherd Philo too. Am encouraged by the people who have been walking down those aisles of Nexus for both CliqueHere services. Thought what Raphael shared was powerful and what he said about "If life without God is good, life with God can only get better" is noteworthy. hehe. I missed out on the by far most successful after service activity on Saturday, but had a good deal, was with the group of dearest people celebrating a very important birthday. :D so cute....awww. hahaha. the usual culprits. who have been the usual culprits for countless birthdays, this is sort of our 5th year we celebrate birthdays so much, and the 6th that we know one another. We. are. getting. old. we got her this pretty pouch from Etsy and clothes. Etsy people are so different from normal online sellers, so much more sincere. The pouch is handmade, came with bubblewrap and this really cute tape sealed with a customised sticker in the envelope, with a note thanking the buyer. This is the first time we are celebrating past midnight into the important date, and perhaps that's why we got a little... Normal. pokpokkay. No amount of photos can potray the comfortable friendship we are holding on to, one that has gone beyond popcorn and laughter, one that have been helping one another do better on this path we call life. :) Tenth anniversary aye, we are halfway there lo. |

Friends are... people you can be totally yourself in front of, not having to be oh-so-cautious in your speech and actions, and knowing full well they don't hate any of that, and won't misunderstand you though you may not be all lovable. and I'm meeting some tomorrow. :D |

We are using the photo below for the cover, maybe CCY will go -__-" I wonder if the 600watts light caused our hair to be like that. Static? I am grateful that school went quite smoothly and well today. It's great fun working with Ama and Yanni, singing, eating cookies, sighing together. It's good to be able to involve God in school work and He has blessed us so. This is the first time I work like that with schoolmates that's not from Hope actually :) We completed the killer exercises in a much shorter time than expected. ;D * Got home quite early and took out the very-dusty guitar from the bag and did some strumming. I have liked guitar since I was a kid but yeh, I never learnt how to play it. I remember liking guitar after listening to Guan Huai Fang Shi by It's not like I never attempted learning. I remember attending basic guitar workshop by Ms KC Lau (HAHAHAHAHA) with Pang and Jasm (HAHAHAHAHA) and she made us buy 20bucks music stands just to put our files on. The stand is stuffed in some corner of my room and we all have this certificate of participation and all I remember was we learnt the she'll be coming 'round the mountains when she comeeeee~ song. When I joined Hope, guitar became an almost necessary skill and Emu, being far-sighted, sent Pamyeo and I to Ian for guitar lesson. We had not much idea of who he was until we saw him and like "oh my gosh, the guy who play and jump on stage. Yihui sabo..." We must be the only disciples of his that still can't play guitar after 2-3 months with him. Well, Pamyeo has talent, but she hates guitar. I have passion but my talent is probably on the negative scale. Ian: *strums C, *strums D. Can hear the difference? Me: Uh.... not really... Ian: Uh, okay try again, *strums again, slowly. Can hear the difference? Me: *sheepish look* No... >_< I remember how malu-ating it was when I lug my guitar, a birthday present from my brother-in-law, for caregroup for Yihui to play and guitar enthusiasts will come and ask me if I play the guitar. Got stranger ask before lor, and Christian asked early last year. And I still dutifully carry a guitar pick in my wallet all the time. For what I also don't know ._. Caregroup worship Prac sessions with Kar were always so funny because we are both poorly skilled. I still like guitar, and maybe someday I will be able to play something decent. I think God still appreciates it even though it sounds so horrid. Hehehe. |

Crops ver2
Saw this web showing award wining product designs, including the familiar iPhone and Apple Macbook Air. Being not very into product design, I clicked on the most colourful icon there, and saw...Colourful Portable Passport-size hard disks that goes up to 320gb. I dismissed it as a good idea, but never thought it's a real thing. A simple google search shows that it is real and selling good. I want the Spearmint one..! Sigh, technology is really moving so quickly. I was a proud owner of a 512mb mp3 player few years back okay, and I still like 3 1/2 floppy disks. Once I sell my current Portable hard disk, Crops, who doesn't like Crumbs very much, I will get you, spear mint! :D Crazy week ahead, God be with all your children who's working hard..! 0 comments |

No wonder they say it's great to have people living in close proximity with you.Few Saturdays back had a random spontaneous coffee bean night with Carmen. Had one with Jiayi just now, and got home at 1am ._. It started with us chatting normally and walking to the interchange, sharing the one spare seat that's somehow always vacant. Then the next seat was vacant so Jia moved over AND A disgusting old drunk man sat himself comfortably one seat away from her and started vomitting all over the floor. Woah, super gross. So because of that we ran away to Macs to seek refuge and started chatting about many different things. It's nice, friendly, simple, frank. *toothy smile* I like talking like this to people. It makes me think and re-evaluate some things. Makes me realise when I am not trying hard enough and whining more than enough. Yes, I always forget the simple things. It adds the spice to the Saturdays that must become more happening..! This one was not bad, we went to visit Yiyou at Old School for KonnichiWOAH! (the photo on sheepie's blog make me look like a neckless person so I shan't post it. hahahaha.) So the Saturdays should get more happening and happier too :D Oh end block, you are so near yet so far. Looking forward to the next weekend. +My mum passed me some cheena powder for my sorethroat and it worked wonders and I have a nose training for a marathon now. But at least I didn't fall into fever..! 0 comments |

It's quite fun, though I kinda wish I have better Jap to understand it more. God must be rejoicing in the praises we sing while we work, and blessed us so..! Cheeyong our photog lecturer said that our rim lighting shot is perfect and he's proud of us, awwww. Though I wasn't physically there to hear him say that 'cause I was And for packaging to go well... I better go work hard now ): |

On the Run

Then went to Bugis for a little feast with YT. Had pizza calzone style followed by a uh, unique bubble tea ice cream with weird free pearls, peanut and chocolate chip, dripping our way to the National Lib. She went on thinking about alcohol and lemon while I went in search for the perfect packaging template. This is us, in varying degrees of yellowness because YT has a cranky camera :D We were sitting on the steps, admiring the scene... and up to some thoughtless mischief. hehehe. happy day. * Oh God I pray for unity in the physical family. |

I have been feeling hollow recently. I don't exactly know how to describe it. Very much like floating when I am supposed to be walking. My body seems to be giving little signs that it's going to break soon, but I have a mind that's weak. I went for... Durian Dublin mudslide at ben&jerry's yesterday with the ycomm core for meeting. We played Donkey and Happy Family :D Campbell Clam Chowder which my brother just cooked. I love soup and I love people who cook soup for me :D Hohoho, let's hope the body still stay strong... sigh, why oh Pat did you reject me and say I am not exciting enough ): I feel like a lump and I want to nua around like what I have been doing all day, but I have to go and make mock ups ): My things are spoiling and I am really sad and broke to do anything about them. There goes my bag that's ripping, earrings that broke and are missing, a cranky PSP charger and my nephew Isaac who can walk now just ripped my glue tape apart. He's an interesting one year+ kid. He frowns when his hands get dirty from the markers i pass him to play. He washes his hands all the time and he gets very pekchek when his clothes are stained with ink, which makes me very eeeee, he's going to grow up to be a jie pi and loves cleanliness and order. He has a very good appetite too and I hope he won't grow up too big. He's quite smart too, always manage to open stuff that no one taught him how to. When he starts talking, man... it's gonna be quite chaotic. This is one random entry. I feel like eating the cornettos and durian ice cream in the freezer... 0 comments |

Have been wanting to go there with Xin since it's near her school. So we roped Ber in and nua-ed there this afternoon. "fishballs" yes I am unglam and I like to kiaoka We attempted to play the Simpson game It's really cute if you are a mega Simpson fan. But we are tired youths that don't feel like using our brains, so we played... 3D snake and ladder. old school man. We glutton-ed there, we were so suay they ran out of dough for our roast duck pizza. So we had pasta and ended it with the scones with cream sauce. Because retarded people make my week better. JC is killing all my friends. Please survive well :) |

Taking now with Ama and Yanni the good groupmates who always come early and set up :X It's kinda cool playing with all the lights and stands and accessories. And this, was one of our first pictures. Looks not bad right. Uh, we were ironing the cloth we use as backdrop, HAHA. * Had Minops1a CG yesterday, Xinyi's first official CG :D I miss thinking of all those funny chairing ideas and even decor things that I used to do with Kar and Tracie to make CG fun. Everywhere around Rix's pretty much carries some form of memory- our flop bday surprise for Rachel, Facade MCG's games held at the playground nearby, sitting at the void deck with all the chess-playing ahpeks while waiting for people etc. My attempt at gathering people to watch movie on Saturday night failed, and the supposedly early night turned into a nice comfortable sharing with Carmen in the North. Sunday was eat a lot night. The Zion team met up again, had Magic Wok ("Thai Chinese Halal restaurant"), followed closely by Ben and Jerry Mix 'n' Match (It gets better when you snatch for the last bits of waffle!) and TongShui HK cafe a bus ride later. I am keeping you guys in prayer :D Oh yah, special mention to Jasmine Ang! Who came to my rescue with her EZlink card yesterday so I could borrow books and not make wasted trip. I know I can count on you~ * The chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. Looking forward to tomorrow..! |

Today my Photog lecturer was wearing two watches, one on his left and another on his right. Me: Hmm why you wear two watches? Him: 'Cause we have no time no time! *stares at both watches. Me:... Him: or you can call me... a TwoTimer. *smiles cheekily. Nah, designers are absolutely normal people. 0 comments |

I would say it is harder to be happy now than it was in the past.Uh, not being emozzz here. There are things to be thought out, sorted out. Things to let go because I have absolutely no idea what to do about them. Things to accept because I can't change them. A bank account running lowwww. People who are so far away. I missed out on the AfterAsTrip Proposal discussion one today with the klan. I wonder if I will be flying though. :| 0 comments |

exercising! Well, sort of. I walked (aye, not stroll ah, is walk fast kind) around my neighbourhood for like 2hrs for shooting on film. It's rare to get home early..! Shot a roll of Holga 120 aka 12 pictures, 10 polaroids and some supersampler. Uh, the polaroid and supersampler belongs to dear Pammie, not me. (I will not buy a pink polaroid.) Some of the polaroid shots. Meant to be nostlagic to me, so I went to my childhood hangouts and took them :D That's my new "pet", a cactus. Uh yes the only pets I ever had were seamonkeys and 20+fish but they all died very quickly. Cacti are good, they don't die. And they are as low maintenance as I am. :X That's the colourful windmill Zhiying bought me, Arigato~ Not superb but I planned to enhance them with illustrations. That's if I ever get down to drawing... The block is starting slow, but I can almost smell the weariness to follow. Congrats all you end CTs people <3 |
