that feels like it belongs to PictureHouse, lol

(my lousy description of the film includes spoilers, so skip it if you want to watch the film)
It is about a flamboyant artist, who found two girls, Vicky and Cristina, touring in Barcelona (hence the title of the film) attractive and made a request for them to fly with him and make love. and the entire story just got more and more complicated, with an interesting relationship brewing between the artist, his ex-wife with violent tendencies and Cristina, who moved in with him. It also shows how Vicky's ideal life got messed up with one unforgettable night with that artist.

It explores very interesting themes, shows the juxtaposition between two very different girls- one crazy about love, emotional, adventurous, living with her head in the clouds, one who thinks she knows what she wants all this while and that overwhelming lost when perhaps she was wrong... and so on.

Oh, the place they shot is really really pretty...

Mass update about the first week of the hols :D

Monday and Tuesday were just spent stoning at home, doing up the bulletin and feeling sick.

Joined the "Just do, don't think" team to make Nuo's wall pretttyyyy on Wednesday.

Went to catch a movie with xiaoXinyi the next day :D


the Black Swindler.
I like the ending of the show, it was worth going through the long parts when the story slowly unfolds. I like how the director added in literature elements and make it artsy in some way.

xinyi then heads home while I had meeting with the commers about the upcoming ESS (which I am supposed to be like, busy about and not mass blogging) and Christmas :D All really exciting stuff.

I love mamamia!
It's a good avenue of self-denial, thinking the world is happy place and people can sing to one another so spontaneously. Now I wish I have been brought up living on an island, then I will be tanned toned and happy. :X For reasons unknown, I have always liked the sea (though I cannot swim well) and surfing (though I have never surfed in my life and probably cannot due to the previous point).
And the show made me give thanks for my parents too.

Then it was off for supper on Cong's first bookout.

bright and early Saturday morning,
met to discuss about Heroes and did a photoshoot!!!
It's just really exciting 'cause though we were able, we have never done it before.
It was fun setting up the pok equipment and making the best out of what we have.
Thank God for ycomm, thank God for poor innocent onlooker, and for everyone who helped!

Saturday was a long long day but it was very fruitful.
Made me wonder how I am going to cope when Hols end and when Q4 really hits at its peak.

I have been sleeping my holidays away. );

Did that on Friday to compensate for all the sleep lost during submission week.
Wakey at noon, eat, sleep, watch tv, sleep, eat, sleep.

Did the same today but it's because I am down with a splitting headache and a bad throat.
When I was perfectly fine yesterday and enjoying time shopping with Philo and Puay, who are happily having Recess weeks. We went to Dempsey for an arty Flea.

Pity there wasn't anything to get. It sparked off many ideas in Boss' head and she wanted to be my manager. ._. when I have nothing to sell );

Oh, I discovered I got "poisoned". My family made me drink this herbal soup thing that is supposedly good for the body, but is terribly heaty. But they didn't warn me about it, and I gulped it down and woke up like that. And missed painting wall at Nuo's T_T Please paint slower.

Saturday was fruitful though.
Had 3 meetings in a row after service, long time since we had this.
Went for Ben & Jerry's and milk tea then tauhuay :D
Boss had to speed home, while Steven, Yiyou and I got "tricked" to Puay's house and she sent all of us home though it's like West, North and Northeast.
It's great spending such time with you guys. :)

There's much to do (:X) and much to play!

It's finally the one month break after 4 months of hard work.
HALF MY POLY LIFE IS OVER,
and it feels so surreal, 'cause I still remember orientation like it's last week.

Oh But I do love the thrill of dragging the folders from the Desktop to the school folder when the module is finally over.
(If only I can drag that duck looking pucca left on the desktop into the folder and forget all about it..)
I have locoroco icons for next sem :X

And so,
I wanted to enjoy myself, and so I dragged people along to feast,
and oh my the amount came out really unexpected...

But it was good.



Pardon the not-so-appetising shots, I was too gan jiong to take properly.

This one month,
I want to get into the Sun, say Sentosa or Pulau Ubin,
stop looking at my vectored Holga Flash page, embrace my faithful chunky friend and go shooting, clear up the pigsty and get the yishuners to stay over, clear up the favours my family asked me to do but I procrastinate, pray a lot more and plan for Dec Camp, enjoy myself and feed my need for anime and TV, paint and so self exploration, make stuff for people and enjoy Design with no need for it to make people part with their money (advertising is evil), catch up with those I miss,
and so much more.

Yes, I don't enjoy slacking around, I like to do stuff! hahaha.

But for now, my spinning head needs to rest.

The entire POP just makes me feel that Singapore is such a happy country, where the little middle-aged parents are free and well-off, taking a day off each to come watch their beloved son at a milestone of his life. Like how tribes make young boys climb trees or tattoo or whatever when they reach a certain age, dear clean and green Singapore has National Service.

She was dressed up and ready for the brother Yao's celebration last Saturday.

Time flies, she's been in church since end of March, so that's.. six months.
Time flies, all my friends are embracing hairlessness and an island so far away.

I am still alive.

At the beginning of this block, I told myself to get ready for a busy block ahead,
indeed it's reaching its peak now.

I have Web Design with a lecturer that reads off the book everyday and wastes our time, Advertising with a lecturer that expects quite a lot, a load of CDI and an inconsiderate school that just has to make it clash with our submission week, some bits of Camp comm to do, and the tuition kid who's taking an important exam a week later. (OH, Lays got her first pay check :D)

So, drop me a little prayer if you see this :D
As for all of you slogging together with me, TDS and the As and Os dudes,
struggle powerfully with His strength!
I am trying to do so too.

I will be a very happy girl this Thursday.

Before going to chiong the night away,

Yesterday was horrid, was just frustrated and very mentally drained.
