Caregroup today was kinda fun, nostlagic with the bloooop game and with Northeast's singing outside. I miss the Northeast dudes, but couldn't stay to say hi. Rix's has moved to a new place, and may it be the beginning of much memories, like how the previous one has given to generations of people, hahaha.

God, be with me as I chiong through this period.
two more weeks to camp, to end block, to holidays, to BTT.
Oh my.

You know some people that you miss somehow... but you know meeting up will be kinda awkward and so you run away? Have been meeting some ex-classmates from AI and AND in town etc, but won't really stop to say hi, especially since I take 10mins to remember some of their names :X
And...I kinda miss the CJ people, but we haven't spoken for a long while, and I can't make it for the outing tomorrow. Don't think I can identify with their lives right now too, but, there have been great memories.
Growing up, moving on.

It's year end, and the time when you see teens roaming around in their weird split colour skinnies, flipflops, interesting hair and clothes, and being very free, clogging up your transport system. And I see a bit of myself in them, I remember us roaming around in our interesting clothes and hair...
and now they have all ended their As, going to UNI, or for some, the evil clutches of Tekong.
It's been a while, and we are growing up.

Tomorrow I turn four in the Lord and that's the time since I first bounded down the steps with limqiaoling (whom they all thought was my sister) and said yes to God.
How have I grown?

Yesterday during one of my looksee trips in Basheer, I overheard this girl talking to the auntie.
G: I want the camera got special effects one.
Auntie: What kind of special effects you want?
G: The colour nice kind.

And I thought to myself, hehe, lomo cams, the colours all nice one what.

I remember another girl who told her friend "aiya, don't need to buy the cameras, can learn how to photoshop to get the colours ma!"

I remember starting from there too, feeling handicapped with holga in my hands.
I don't think I have grown to be any much better (unfortunately), but I have learnt to enjoy every bit of the delight film brings.

Growing in skills is one thing,
growing in passion and to love doing what you do beyond the many restrictions is another.

After calling 100 4 times and calling all the major bookstores, surfing around and searching online when there's connection, posting a looking post on a LJ community and getting rejected by the moderator...

I got to know BooksActually sells it from Nuo <3, so I reserved the past issue 'cause they ran out of the latest one... made the trip to collect it at Chinatown today when I realised... I forgot about Asylum, went in and they have a stack of the latest copy -_-

Thank you God, you answer prayers and reward hard work and the stupid undying heart of mine. :D Oh, I am looking for it because we need to analyse a publication for school, and I want to do a magazine like this, 'cause I wish to produce something or work for such a mag some time years later I guess.

And yesterday was an awesome time with the class, besides my stupid headache syndrome that still leaves that fear in my heart.
We had a belated birthday celebration for Mandark at her place.

Mass update about the week.

Submission eve on Monday was made so much more enjoyable hanging in school till late with Ama, Yanni and Robin and MacsDelivery. We stayed till 11+!

Stoned and slept my Wednesday away, visited printers at ulu lanes on Thursday and ended with having CG at the good old nostalgic Istana park and had a happening Friday whereby...



I learned sewing!
(you: don't bluff! and that one is cutting, and not your hand, your nails not so long!)
And I say, More to be revealed!!

then I went off to meet FatFaith and we visited another ulu printer and got Christmas invite settled! She will see 19,000 of her designs everywhere, yay!

Headed back to town and went to meet the happy gang, happy 'cause they have all (almost) ended the As. Ate at Indulgz 'cause Aston's was fullhouse, again.

Saturday flew by, sort out some things and learn about the philosophy of ministry. Went to tauhuay with Kiap and Puay, got distrupted halfway and had to run away from the police car and summons. Stoned at her house for too long and she had to drive us home :X

Today was out shopping with the fangirl Pammieyeo and to fulfill her ulterior motive. ^^"
We got some cheap thrill buys and she got a nice top...

And it's 130am, and I got to be awake in 5.5hours, oh n0o0o0o0o0.
