Growth
It's been a little busy this week, and this time round was Yanni's special day.

![]() ^_^ We had a plan! To surprise her by hiding behind the wall. ![]() "act secretive a bit leh!" ![]() ![]() the photog people came rushing down, ![]() and all was good! ... but the birthday girl is smart, and we forgot about reflections. So she came and ^_^ at us, and we O_O how-did-you!-it-was-flawless! and blurted out the birthday song still :D ![]() and presented the birthday gift submission style, final work, R&D folder and mockups! ![]() ![]() :D ![]() The mega onigiri in the making: (Cont'd of the post where I said I learnt sewing!) ![]() (Sorry Nuo, not very glam, but I really like this photo, HAHA) ![]() We were sewing at... ![]() Macdonalds. (There is nothing you cannot do at Macs.) ![]() This is master wugui, teaching the two n0obs. ![]() one of the tiny mockups :D And the birthday girl finally found the birthday mood. She really reminds me of honey senpai sometimes... When she talks, I can see pink fluffs animating in the background.... HAHA. Dear Yanni, May this birthday means growing a year wiser, and more in love. Jiayou with what you are doing for God :D * It's year end, and the time when you see teens roaming around in their weird split colour skinnies, flipflops, interesting hair and clothes, and being very free, and now they have all ended their As, going to UNI, or for some, the evil clutches of Tekong. It's been a while, and we are growing up. * Tomorrow I turn four in the Lord and that's the time since I first bounded down the steps with limqiaoling (whom they all thought was my sister) and said yes to God. How have I grown? * Yesterday during one of my looksee trips in Basheer, I overheard this girl talking to the auntie. G: I want the camera got special effects one. Auntie: What kind of special effects you want? G: The colour nice kind. And I thought to myself, hehe, lomo cams, the colours all nice one what. I remember another girl who told her friend "aiya, don't need to buy the cameras, can learn how to photoshop to get the colours ma!" I remember starting from there too, feeling handicapped with holga in my hands. I don't think I have grown to be any much better (unfortunately), but I have learnt to enjoy every bit of the delight film brings. Growing in skills is one thing, growing in passion and to love doing what you do beyond the many restrictions is another. hen duo dong xi yao zuo, hai yi zhi blog. x( 0 Comments: |
