dim gai, DIM GAI LEH?!
![]() I finally know how to use the heater, I have been bathing in cold water since day one. Apparently need to jam the buttons and wait for this blue flame to start in the little hole. It's like in a stove.. Yesterday's Precious Corner saw more birthday celebrations. ![]() and they gave out membership cards/tags during service ![]() And oh, I met another Singaporean from Uni-YA, this is Ben and Bill, Bill's from Hope JB, and they have been in church since '96 0_0 ![]() We walked past these stalls ![]() to a nice restaurant nearby ![]() ![]() I got treated again, very paiseh. ._. ![]() this is my S$3.77 shirt HA HA HA ![]() The guy in white is Alex, who footed the bill and is the Uni CG's careleader :) I planned my Sunday and went about it myself :D ![]() I wore my tattered ji gong shoes to Island Shangri-La and on their expensive carpet.. Went to Study at Australia Fair today.. funny how I bother to go all these things in HK. Uh, but never gain much from it, 'cause it kind of caters to the general courses, no Arts School there. Just go there see see. And I finally watched my long awaited UP! It's quite hard to find English one and I refuse to go catch a Canto-dubbed one, nor go to Causeway Bay. I am there 5 days a week already. Found a cinema at Yau Ma Tei :D Like how it's quieter and away from the whole bustling HK. (Thank God for internet) ![]() Cute ah, if they make this into a tote I may buy it. ![]() ![]() So cute right, this church is apparently located on Temple Street. ![]() ![]() This is the ticket, look at the cute school bag chop, I get student rate muahahahaha. I wanted to try watching a movie alone, and I really enjoy being able to soak myself completely in the movie. UP deals with one of my fav themes of growing old & growing up! It shows my greatest fear of growing old and not doing anything with life. And yet it also shows how the achievements made people go nuts and lose everything along the way, and how time steals, so quietly. Scares me so.. And *clap clap, 3D is really a breakthrough, it wasn't dizzy like the one at futuropolis lor. Can't wait for Toy Story 3D. Went to the cafe & bookshop near the cinema called Kubrick. ![]() They sell all sorts of nice books and mags and lomo cams, haha. ![]() They have a nice fish tank ![]() look at the signs inside! ![]() Photos from last Saturday :) ![]() ![]() ![]() And oh yes, Happy National Day, I blog until it's no longer national day. ![]() Apparently the ferry that ensures I get to work on time everyday is a Singaporean company. Today I was walking about after the movie, and I heard this familiar English + Hokkien conversation (dead giveaway, who rojaks Eng & Hokkien so effortlessly but us) and I smiled and asked, "Are you Singaporean? Happy National Day!" The uncle replied in true-Singaporean-ah-beng-fashion, "why you never wear red colour? (*points to his red pants) Later 822pm must go say pledge ah!" LOL. Guess what I was doing at 822? ![]() I COOKED TODAY. I cooked my first omelette! :D (or, omelette looking thing) (after some Chef tease me- I must clarify, I don't have a spatula, I poked it with a fork, so it's folded this way, gimme some credits leh) Okay this is the second one, the first one got very badly burnt, HAHA. That's instant mashed potato with corn and meat. Not too bad la, right, give me some encouragement, thank you. I cooked in true g33k fashion too, with my Mac on the fridge, and watching a WikiHow video. 8) Thank you Daniela for telling me about laundry bags that fateful day in the canteen, HAHAHA, so things never go out of shape LOL. Vacuumed the floor yesterday, washed and hang clothes everyday, grab groceries before running after the ferry are skills that I have picked up lately...... Good night.
