LG - Life's Good
 I started this year telling myself I should record down more of the LG's precious moments. Because of the frequency of weekly meetings, along the way it got mundane and we take it for granted, forgetting it's just as special as many outings we bother to photograph. hahaha. + Last Wed, after feeling completely blessed that a Printer can print 25 000 Easter invites in two days, and save my head from rolling, I went for Alice in Wonderland the movie with the LG. It's The Movie I've been waiting for since... since I remember gasping that i will be 20 and Puay, 23 when it comes out, so should be quite a few years ago? Maybe it's that expectation that killed the joy of watching it. It's great, love the colours and mad details, but ya, it feels every frame is so filled and perfected it's not mind blowing anymore, like how if every spread in a book is shouting at you you just shut up? I love what Yanny says about it though "Instead of running away as she [Alice] always did, she took up her responsibilities like a real grown-up. And the irony is that she did it with her childhood faith and courage." Somehow I felt that muchiness is a word I've always wanted to use but didn't know, hahaha. + Few days before that, I was chionging Huaxiang's red box file of well wishes with Voon at Gwen's and sending him off.  looking completely chui -__- at 6am. +  And the happiest Saturday of my life this year! Bus-ed and trekked to Balestier to satisfy Huaxiang's Boon Tong Kee chicken rice desires (I still don't think paying ten bucks for them is worth it) then came durian!!! by the roadside, ultimate happiness, and finally ending the night by Novena's starbucks eating Udders *__* Yes I am easily satisfied and healed by food. + Just a while after the horrible 19th feb, we had steamboat at Puay's too. Love it!  + Cooking at YongKang's one LG was super fun too. (I brought a low batt cam so...) + And from long ago, kite flying!  I don't like posed group shots, but what to do hahaha + Caught up with some other dear Hopies. Pardon my bad habit of photographing food and not the companion...  had Shokudo with Asher & Eevoon.   (looks like film quality right zzz iphone zzz) & a long overdue ketchup session with Yihui at Caramel : ) - Mass blogging is time-consuming, but I've that bit of time to spend now! :D 0 Comments: |
